Actor Ahn Se Ha talked about his experience of working with Lee Jun Ho in “King the Land”.
Ahn Se Ha met with reporters at a cafe in Gangnam-gu Seoul before JTBC’s “King the Land” ended and shared various talks about the drama.
“King the Land” depicts the romance of Goo Won (Lee Jun Ho), who dislikes fake smiles, and Cheon Sa Rang (Im Yoon Ah), who has to smile every time, creating days where people can smile brightly at the VVIP Lounge ‘King the Land’, known as the dream of hoteliers.
Ahn Se Ha portrayed Noh Sang Sik, a secretary and friend of Goo Won, the heir of King Group and the head general manager of King Hotel.
When asked about his chemistry with Lee Jun Ho and Im Yoon Ah (Yoona), Ahn Se Ha said, “After the character Sang Sik was confirmed as my role, six actors and the director went on an MT trip together. We participated in a sports competition together and often gathered to discuss many things. That’s why we became close and comfortable with each other even before the script reading.”
He continued, “The filming started with the intern scene. We easily filmed it since we were already close from the beginning. Thanks to that, my chemistry with Jun Ho was very good. Jun Ho wore a suit when we met in private and he looked really cool, so I thought I should also do well.”
Ahn Se Ha added, “Lee Jun Ho looks more like an actor rather than a singer now. He acts so well that even forgot that he’s a 2PM member. I was more comfortable with Yoona because we did ‘The King in Love’ together. She was already good at acting back then and I think she hasn’t changed. She also takes good care of other people”.
