Kim Yuna’s ideal type matches “milk man” Ko Woo Rim perfectly, “I don’t like guys who pretend to be strong”
Kim Yuna’s remark on her ideal type surfaces after she announced marriage to FORESTELLA member Ko Woo Rim.
Former figure skating queen Kim Yuna revealed her ideal type in her 2010 published autobiographical essay “Kim Yuna’s 7-Minute Drama”. She wrote, “It’s okay if he is taller than me, but I don’t like men who pretend to be too strong. I want a man who can lean on me during hard times, rather than someone who thinks ‘I am a man, so I have to act like one’.”
In the same year, Kim Yuna appeared as a guest on MBC’s entertainment program “Golden Fishery” and said, “I don’t like guys who pretend they are strong just because they are men. I don’t like those who are chatty either.” When asked to choose between Yoo Jae Suk and Kang Ho Dong as someone who suits her type better, Kim Yuna picked Yoo Jae Suk.
Also in this year, when once again asked about her ideal type on SBS’s music show “Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate”, Kim Yuna said, “I’ve been asked this question often, but I’ve never answered it properly. I just like those who can communicate well and have a good heart.”
Meanwhile, Ko Woo Rim’s agency made an official statement on July 25th that Ko Woo Rim and Kim Yuna will have a private wedding this October. The two first met on the 2018 All That Skate Ice Show celebration stage and decided to get married after three years of dating.
Following the news, attention has been focused on Kim Yuna’s husband-to-be. Ko Woo Rim, born in 1995, is 5 years younger than Kim Yuna, born in 1990, and has not yet served in the military. Ko Woo Rim graduated from the Department of Vocal at Seoul National University and is currently attending the Graduate School of Seoul National University. After winning the 2017 JTBC’s singing program “Phantom Singer 2” as a vocalist of the male vocal quartet FORESTELLA, he has continued to be active in the group.
Ko Woo Rim has a so-called “milk man” style as he is fair and gives off gentle vibes. Besides his visuals, Ko Woo Rim has also captured the hearts of women with his low-pitched vocals.
