“Haeri’s Shinru” is a romantic historical drama nicknamed “The Joseon Renaissance” about Lee Hyang, a genius scientist who loved astronomy during King Sejong’s reign, and Haeru, a mysterious woman who sees the future. Writer Yoon Yi-soo, who wrote the original novel “Haeri’s Shinru,” wrote the script herself. Yoon Yi-soo is also famous as the original author of “Love in the Moonlight,” which was previously remade into a drama.

Kim Sun-ho plays the role of Lee Hyang, the crown prince and a genius scientist. This will be his second historical drama after tvN’s “100 Days My Prince.” Since he showed solid acting skills and his prominent presence at the time during that drama, attention is being paid to how stable he will lead the story as the main character this time.

Right after finishing the drama “Hometown Cha Cha cha” last year, he was directly hit by the controversy over his private life. He is set to make his screen debut after finishing filming the movie “Sad Tropical,” and has returned through the stage play “Theatrical Fever 9 – Touch the Boyd” in July to meet with the audience. Kim Sun-ho, determined to “make efforts to become a better actor and a better person,” will hold a fan meeting in Korea on December 10th and return to the drama scene, raising expectations for his next year’s activities.
