Kim Jong-kook broke the silence regarding his dating rumor with Yoon Eun-hye, talked about the reason why he didn’t deny anything

Kim Jong-kook finally broke his silence a month after the rumor of his romantic relationship with Yoon Eun-hye was reignited. He, who has neither affirmed nor denied the dating rumors, explained why he has remained silent until now, saying, “If we stay still, the rumors will disappear someday.” He has not denied any recent allegations of them being past lovers as well, saying he hopes Yoon Eun-hye will get married soon.
In the latest episode of KBS2’s entertainment show “Problem Child in House,” which aired on Jun 22nd, Kim Jong-kook revealed why he did not respond to his dating scandal with Yoon Eun-hye, which has lasted nearly 20 years. When Jeong Hyeong-don picked Kim Jong-kook, Yoon Eun-hye, Kim Sook, and Lee Dae-hyung as the representatives of the entertainment industry, Kim Jong-kook said, “I have had a wedding date set from 10 years ago.” When asked why he didn’t deny the rumors, Kim answered, “If you don’t do anything, the rumor will disappear soon and the public will move on. The moment you respond, it will get longer,” he explained.
“I have to stay calm and be patient. If I keep doing it, the rumor will disappear someday. Or if one of us gets married, it will be over,” he added. However, 47-year-old Kim Jong-kook and 39-year-old Yoon Eun-hye are still not married yet. Kim Jong-kook replied, “I don’t know why she hasn’t got married yet. She should do it quickly. I’m dying,” he joked.
It is the first time that Kim Jong-kook mentioned Yoon Eun-hye since their romance rumor resurfaced in May. At that time, Yoon Eun-hye was embroiled in suspicions that she was Kim Jong-kook’s ex-girlfriend due to a YouTube video released by her.
