Amid Bullying Controversy, Kim Hieora To Perform Her Last ‘FRIDA’ Stage Today (Oct 15th)

Actress Kim Hieora will complete FRIDA performances with the final stage today

On the evening of October 15th, Kim Hieora will appear on the stage at the Shinhan Card Artium in COEX, Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul to perform the musical “FRIDA”. Presenting the first show on August 1st, “FRIDA” will end after two months with today’s performance.

Kim Hieora was embroiled in a school violence controversy on September 6th, but she denied all the claims of her engagement in school violence acts and decided to continue appearing in “FRIDA” as scheduled. The prolonged battle over the school violence issue put a great burden on her, but the actress stood firmly on the stage thanks to the support of people who trusted her.

It is said that fellow actors and “FRIDA” staff encouraged Kim Hieora to stay strong and the actress was also determined to gain all her courage and complete the performances.

“FRIDA” producer EMK Musical Company announced the news of the last stage on their official SNS account, saying “We would like to thank the audiences for coming and enjoying the musical ‘FRIDA’ from August, when the weather was burning hot, until the new season when the wind changes its direction”, adding “Please give warm applause for the ‘FRIDA’ team members, who always love every moment of life fiercely”.

Meanwhile, Kim Hieora made her face known to the public after appearing in Netflix’s hit series “The Glory” as painter Lee Sa-ra with drug addiction. While enjoying her heyday after taking on another villain role in tvN’s drama “The Uncanny Counter 2”, the actress faced a crisis due to school violence allegations against her.

However, the first informant suddenly changed their statements, and the credibility of comments by other informants based on a call transcript is also doubted. Regarding the allegations, Kim Hieora said, “I’m trying to be honest and calm in all situations and reveal everything with a sincere heart. I know that many people believe me so I will go forward sincerely without lying”.
