“K-POP” related keywords rank high in eBay’s search volume rankings… Growing popularity of online export
Amid growing interest in overseas sales in the era of high exchange rates, according to a related company, K-POP also becomes widespread in terms of online exports.
According to a survey conducted by the global commerce platform eBay on the keyword search volume of celebrity collections, K-POP artists are ranked at the top of the list every month.
In eBay’s July search volume rankings, 4 K-POP related keywords entered the top 10, including BTS (No.1), aespa (No.2), Stray Kids (No.3) and Loona (No.8). Keywords with high sales by Korean sellers were ▲BTS, ▲NCT, ▲SEVENTEEN, ▲Stray Kids, ▲aespa and ▲TWICE. Photocards, albums and goods are being sold actively.
Lee Hyo-min, head of eBay’s CBT Business Team, said, “With K-POP’s increased global status, when K-POP is added to the reverse trading market, the sales value of products is increasing. If you are considering reverse trading items in the era of high exchange rates, it is also a way to target the K-POP market.”
