Jisoo is off to a good start with her solo debut.
On March 31st at 1 p.m. (KST), BLACKPINK Jisoo released her first solo album titled “ME”, showing her unique color and original beauty. The solo album contains two new songs, with one being the title “FLOWER” and the b-side “All Eyes On Me.” Teddy Park, VINCE, KUSH, VVN, 24 and R.TEE are listed to be members of the production team that worked across composition, lyric-writing and arrangement.
As of 11 p.m (KST), FLOWERS surpassed 24M views on YouTube. Although only 10 hours have passed, it can be certain that this is the Kpop MV released in 2023 with the most views in the first 24 hours.
Besides, the song also entered top 3 on Melon chart, thus it is now the highest-peaking song released by a soloist this year on the MelOn Top 100 (#3). It also surpassed 500,000 streams on MelOn (506.4K).
The members are supportive of Jisoo’s debut. They linked the M/V on their Instagram story to promote the song along with their best wishes for Jisoo as a solo artist.
