f(x)’s Krystal Joins Beenzino’s Agency, Is She Making Comeback As Singer?

Actress & singer Jung Soo-jung, also known as f(x)’s Krystal, will begin her new journey under Beenzino’s company

At 4 p.m. on February 22nd, Jung Soo-jung (Krystal) unveiled a new cover of the song “I’m Coming Back” on the official SoundCloud account she recently opened. At the same time, she surprised fans by delivering the news of her moving to a new company called BANA (Beasts And Natives Alike).

“I’m Coming Back” is a song released by American soul singer Lalah Hathaway in 1990. Jung Soo-jung made the song become more catchy by arranging it in her unique style.

After making her debut as a member of the girl group f(x) in 2009, Jung Soo-jung carried out singing activities under the stage name Krystal. The group received huge love from the public after releasing numerous hit songs such as “Nu ABO”, “Hot Summer”, “Electric Shock”, and “Rum Pum Pum Pum”.

After f(x) activities ended, Jung Soo-jung turned to acting and has starred in various works, such as “The Heirs”, “Prison Playbook”, “Cobweb”, etc. On the recent Valentine’s Day (February 14th), she released the cover song “Georgy Porgy” on SoundCloud, hinting at new moves.

BANA announced their exclusive contract with Jung Soo-jung, saying “We are planning and producing projects in various fields such as music, video, fashion, exhibition, and performance”, adding “Please look forward to the synergy we will create with Jung Soo-jung”.

Meanwhile, BANA is currently managing Beenzino, 250, Kim Shim-ya, FRNK, Eric Oh, Jo Woong, and Masta Wu.
