Park Yoochun: “I was afraid to put myself down”, finally admitted his drug charges

Park Yoochun, a 33-year-old singer and actor who was charged with violating the law on the management of narcotics, is coming out of the court to return to his waiting place after a pre-arrest hearing at Suwon District Court in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, in the afternoon of April 26th.

It has been confirmed that actor and singer Park Yoo-chun, 33, who was arrested on drug-dosing, finally admitted to the charges after giving up his “guiltless claim” he had maintained so far.

According to the South Gyeonggi Police Agency’s narcotics investigation team on the 29th, Park admitted to most of the drug injections during a police investigation that began earlier in the day.

“I was afraid to put myself down,” he was quoted as saying, “I thought that I should admit what I have to admit and apologize what I have to apologize.”

Park was arrested on the 26th this month on charges of violating the law on the management of narcotics.

Park is suspected of purchasing 1.5 grams of methamphetamine on three occasions with Hwang Ha-na (31) who is his ex-lover and the granddaughter of Namyang Dairy founder, between February and March this year, and using them 5 times between the purchases.

On the 23rd, police applied for a preliminary arrest warrant for Park Yoochun based on the results of an investigation by the National Institute of Scientific Investigation which stated that methamphetamine was found in Park’s body.
