Former IZ*ONE member Kwon Eunbi confirmed to appear in upcoming Mnet’s band survival show 

Kwon Eunbi will make a regular appearance on Mnet’s band survival program. 

Broadcasting industry officials spoke to the media on May 6th that Kwon Eunbi is set to have a fixed appearance on Mnet’s new program titled “Great Seoul Invasion”.


“Great Seoul Invasion” is a band survival show aiming to launch global bands that will represent Korea. After producing successful survival shows for idols, rappers, and dancers, Mnet is drawing anticipation for its first-ever survival program for bands.

Kwon Eunbi, whose appearance in “Great Seoul Invasion” has been confirmed, joined Mnet’s idol survival show “Produce 48” in 2018 as a contestant and made it into the final lineup. After the show ended, she debuted as the leader of the project girl group IZ*ONE.

Last year, Kwon Eunbi released her first mini album “OPEN” and made a fresh start as a soloist. In April of this year, she dropped her second mini album “Color”. She was recently cast in the musical “Midnight Sun”, expanding her scope of activity.

With her experience on various stages both domestic and overseas, Kwon Eunbi is expected to provide great help to the participants of “Great Seoul Invasion,” who dream of becoming global artists. She has also shown her affection for band music in different interviews. Therefore, expectations are high for her appearance in “Great Seoul Invasion.”

“Great Seoul Invasion” is scheduled to start airing this summer. The final winning band will receive a prize of 100 million won, a dedicated studio, and a variety of benefits such as producing their own album.
