Former IZ*ONE Lee Chaeyeon, Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi to reunite in “Queendom Puzzle”? Taeyeon appears as host

Lee Chaeyeon will reportedly join the Mnet survival audition show, “Queendom Puzzle”, while Taeyeon will appear as a host. 

Recently, Korean media outlet E-Daily reported that Lee Chaeyeon, soloist and former IZ*ONe member, will participate in the Mnet survival audition show, “Queendom Puzzle”. If this is true, “Queendom Puzzle” will be Lee Chaeyeon’s 5th time joining a survival show, following “Kpop Star Season 3”, TWICE’s member selection program “Sixteen”, “Produce 48”, and “Street Woman Fighter”. 

So far, other rumored contestants of “Queendom Puzzle” includes former IZ*ONE Yabuki Nako, Honda Hitomi, and Lee Chaeyeon; former MOMOLAND JooE; former Lovelyz Kei; former LABOUM Haein; and former CLC Yeeun.

On the other hand, Girls’ Generation member and soloist Taeyeon has confirmed her appearance on “Queendom Puzzle” as a host. 

The official lineup of “Queendom Puzzle” will be announced in May, while the show will start airing in June. “Queendom Puzzle”, which aims to form a powerful project girl group by combining current and former girl group members via a competition, is a spin-off of the Mnet show “Queendom”

In the teaser trailer of “Queendom Puzzle”, which was released on April 10th, a total of 9 songs appeared, including BLACKPINK’s “KILL THIS LOVE”, Girls’ Generation’s “The Boys”, LE SSERAFIM’s “FEARLESS”, WJSN’s “As You Wish”, (G)I-DLE’s “TOMBOY”, OH MY GIRL’s “Nonstop”, STAYC’s “ASAP”, IZ*ONE’s “FIESTA”, and Red Velvet’s “Bad Boy.”

At the same time, the code “IURP WZHQWB HLJKW WR VHYHQ” also appeared. This code can be deciphered using the “Caesar Cipher”, resulting in “FROM TWENTY EIGHT TO SEVEN”. This has led netizens to predict that 28 participants will compete, and ultimately, 7 members will make up the final group.
