Female Idols Under Fire For Smiling And Taking Cute Pictures At Funeral Of Fellow Group Member

The remaining members of M-Girls are being heavily criticized for their behavior at Queenzy Cheng’s funeral

On November 29th, the three members of the Malaysian girl group M-Girls, Angeline Khoo, Cass Chin and Crystal Ong, gathered at member Queenzy Cheng’s funeral hall. Just one day before (28th), Cheng suddenly became unconscious and passed away while filming the content of the online channel “Squad Sekawan.” She was only 37 years old.

The three female singers made various poses in front of the deceased’s portrait and then posted these photos online with the caption, “I love you forever.” Many fans have left encouraging comments towards these idols, saying, “Cheer up,” “This is such shocking news,” “Hope she is happy in heaven,” “It’s sad,” and “Rest in peace.” However, after seeing the photos, some netizens, including Korean Internet users, have expressed their shock to see the stars’ disrespecting moves towards their late fellow members.

Meanwhile, M-Girls was formed in 2001. Its representative song is “New Spring Holiday,” which was released in 2015.
