An interview with Jang Na Ra of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Family” has been released.
tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Family”, which will premiere on April 17th (Monday), tells the story of Kwon Do Hoon (Jang Hyuk), a NIS black agent husband who disguises himself as an ordinary office worker, and Kang Yoo Ra (Jang Na Ra), a sweet and fierce wife who dreams of a perfect family. EP Jang Jeong Do, who produced a number of successful works such as the dramas “Live”, “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”, “The Crowned Clown”, “Our Blues”, “Alchemy of Souls” and “Island”, is in charge of directing. “Family” is raising expectations as the fourth work in which actors Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra work together.
Jang Na Ra shared, “I didn’t even worry about it because I got to work with Jang Hyuk and Lee Soon Jae. I thought I could present a different story, including family love and comedy, centering on a very fun and extraordinary family.”
In particular, “Family” is drawing keen attention even before its airing as it is the fourth meeting between Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra. The two are a “golden combination” that hit the jackpot with the best chemistry every time they met, such as “Successful Story of a Bright Girl”, “You Are My Destiny” and “2014 Drama Festival – Old Farewell”. Regarding this, Jang Na Ra confessed, “It’s very rare to meet the same actor in various works, so I’m very grateful. Jang Hyuk doesn’t change at all. He’s still cool and considerate. I’m acting comfortably and learning a lot because we work well together even if we don’t talk much.”
Jang Na Ra takes on the role of Kang Yoo Ra, a housekeeper who tries to protect her family and hides a secret behind her lovely appearance. She expressed her affection for the character Kang Yoo Ra, “Kang Yoo Ra’s greatest charm is doing her best to protect ordinary and warm existences. I worked out hard and prepared my stamina to fully digest the character.”
Finally, Jang Na Ra said, “‘Family’ is a drama full of love that people of all ages can watch comfortably. However, it also has the charm of a unique development, so please look forward and pay attention to it.”
Meanwhile, tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Family” is scheduled to premiere at 8:50 p.m. on April 17th (Monday).
