BTS say they don’t collaborate with international artists for fame because music is their No.1 priority

Idol group BTS has recently mentioned their collaborations with foreign artists.

In the afternoon of August 26th, a press conference was reportedly held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul to commemorate the opening of BTS’ “LOVE YOURSELF” Seoul concert. Many reporters have come to this event to meet and talk with the members.


BTS’ latest album drew attention as it was featured by pop singer Nicki Minaj. Famous pop singer Ed Sheeran also became the talk of the town by promoting the BTS’s new album.

I was very surprised to see the SNS upload of Ed Sheeran,J-Hope said, “I’m so happy he mentioned us even though we haven’t had any interactions.” He also added, “I am still amazed and proud to work with artists I’ve dreamed of meeting since I was a trainee.”

Then, who will be their next collaborator? “I think I’ll consider it after the music concept is complete,” Suga said, “Music comes first.” “We have no intention of gaining popularity through collaborating with famous artists. We will collaborate with an artist if he or she is the right person for our song,” he explained.

Meanwhile, BTS released its repackage album LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘Answer’ at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th. Starting with their Seoul concert, BTS will perform 33 times in 16 cities around the world including the U.S., Britain and Japan.
