BLACKPINK x Starbucks limited edition merchandise sold out within first hours of sales 

BLACKPINK’s collaborated merchandise with Starbucks sold out in hours on the first day of sales, proving global popularity. 

On July 25, the BLACKPINK x Starbucks merchandise is reportedly sold out in the morning at two online retailers. While each buyer can only buy two items, the volume ran out in a flash.


There are 10 types of limited editions of the BLACKPINK collaboration introduced by Starbucks, including a cold cup, a water bottle, a tumbler, a ceramic mug, a tote bag, a key ring, and a passport wallet in different combinations of pink and black, the signature color of BLACKPINK. 

Ten limited editions of BLACKPINK x Starbucks merchandise were sold out within 2 hours and 50 minutes of release, according to G Market, one of the retailers.

An official from the platform said, “Considering the limited number of purchases, it is a fast sales speed,” adding, “It seems that interest is high at home and abroad.”

The products have also been sold out on Starbucks’ official online store. Offline stores are running out, with 90% of the in-stock products being sold. They also reported seeing buyers lined up before the opening hour.

An official from Starbucks Korea said, “In Myeong-dong and other places, foreigners also visited stores to purchase limited editions, and open runs took place in office stores from the morning.

Demands are still going high. On SNS, fans are posting to look for sold-out items, while sellers are looking for potential buyers. 

Meanwhile, these collaborative products will be sold simultaneously in nine Asian countries, including Korea. Starbucks is also running a collaborative bakery menu with BLACKPINK available only in Korea.
