BLACKPINK Jisoo brings in $15.7 million in media impact value, puts Dior on top at Paris Fashion Week

Given the value Jisoo brings to this French fashion house, it’s easy to understand why the Dior Family is so fond of her.

BLACKPINK Jisoo recently made a media-shocking appearance at Paris Fashion Week. The member of BLACKPINK appears to be the focus of attention during this event. Soon after, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) praised her global popularity in an article headlined “Blackpink’s Jisoo and Dior Rocked the Internet During Paris Fashion Week.” 

According to the article, Jisoo and Dior made a huge media impact at this year’s Paris Fashion Week. Specifically, the article wrote: “Blackpink took Paris Fashion Week by storm, and one of the South Korean girl group’s members, Jisoo, was responsible for the social media post with the highest value.”

The author added: “Jisoo’s effort ahead of the Dior show — four photos of herself on Instagram wearing a beige minidress decorated with a Greek figure — generated $1.84 million in media impact value, according to data and insights firm Launchmetrics.” 

To confirm Jisoo’s extraordinary impact, the author wrote: “Dior came out as the top brand account with 8,088 posts valued at $39.1 million in media impact value, while Jisoo, whose full name is Kim Ji-soo, was the top celebrity with only two personal posts and 2,536 media mentions for a total value of $15.7 million. She boasts 47.9 million followers on Instagram and also documented her visit to the new Dior Spa at the Cheval Blanc hotel.”

The article also reported that Paris Fashion Week, which ran from September 27 to October 5, raked in $241.4 million in media impact value, with $184.7 million of that from social channels. And accordingly, Dior came out on top of the brand ranking (considering only the brands’ own media channels). Launchmetrics’ media impact value figure tallies the impact of relevant media placements on all channels (online, social, print), inclusive of paid, owned and earned mediums.

Jisoo has consistently shown her attractiveness and delivered significant revenues to the design company since being the official global ambassador for DIOR. Jisoo’s image at Paris Fashion Week on DIOR’s official Instagram has also received over 1 million likes. 

It is obvious that choosing Jisoo Kim as DIOR’s global ambassador was a wise decision. Jisoo’s tremendous international reputation is admirable!
