Singer BIBI revealed the secret about the red mole under her eyes and unveiled various stories about her Coachella performance.
The Youtube channel of Lee Young Ji’s content “Nothing Much Prepared” (also known as “My Alcohol Diary”) recently uploaded a behind-the-scenes video of the episodes featuring aespa Karina, BIBI, Jay Park, and MONSTA X I.M.
That day, Lee Young Ji told BIBI, “Tell me about your mole”.
BIBI said, “Before my grandpa passed away. He had been so sick since he was in his 30s. I barely remember him standing with his two feet.”
She continued, “He passed away when I was 5 years old. The last memory of him, not by a photo…He was a Buddhist, so I was holding prayer beads and said, ‘Tada~ Grandpa I’m here’. He made a big smile and said ‘Hyungseo’s here~’. He could barely raise his head up and there were red things around his face. I could only remember only those red moles. So I got a tattoo like this.”
BIBI confessed, “He loved me so much. I can still feel his love even after his death”, adding “I always pray before something happens, just like Kim Yuna’s signing the cross”.
She smiled and said, “So I always talk to my grandfather about this, ‘Oh please Grandpa, if I just let it go, please. Help me for once, grandpa’. Then I’ll do great, anyway”.
BIBI also talked about her underboob fashion, which drew attention during an interview when she attended the Coachella festival in the U.S.
Lee Young Ji asked BIBI, “For whatever you say, there’s something like a censorship, right?”. In response, BIBI said, “Censoring is impossible because my company’s CEO is Tiger JK and he’s lived his life saying everything he wants to say. So when I make trouble, my boss can’t scold me. But Mi Rae unnie scolds me, like ‘You need to get a life’”.
Then, when asked if she gets scolded a lot, BIBI shared, “Not really much. I don’t make any troubles”.
Regarding behind stories of the Coachella stage, BIBI said, “It was really fun. I think it’s my first time preparing a performance like that.” She then mentioned her underboob fashion during a Coachella interview, saying “I really didn’t know about that. I didn’t know that part was here. I thought there was a hole under here but I didn’t know it was going up.”
She continued, “Because in the US, no one such as a hair makeup artist can go in. They just take care of me before I go then I should walk to the stage all alone. It wasn’t so bad after all”.
