HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk showed his support for the boy group Enhypen.
On July 30th, Bang Si Hyuk posted a photo on his Instagram account, adding the caption, “With Enhypen. Congratulations”.
The released picture shows Bang Si Hyuk taking a photo with Enhypen members (Jungwon, Heeseung, Sunwoo, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, and Ni-ki). His healthy appearance after losing weight drew enthusiastic attention from fans.
Enhypen is a group under Belift Lab, a joint subsidiary of HYBE and CJ ENM. Forming through Mnet’s survival show “I-LAND”, the group officially debuted in November 2020 with their first mini album “BORDER: DAY ONE”.
Enhypen started their second world tour “ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘FATE’” with the Seoul show at KSPO DOME, Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 29th and 30th of July.
During the stage of “Polaroid Love”, the members rode a mobile vehicle to go around the venue and communicated with fans at a closer distance. They even made cute poses in front of Chairman Bang Si Hyuk, who was sitting in the audience seat.
Regarding Bang Si Hyuk’s appearance, Heeseung shared, “I was a trainee under Big Hit, and this is my first time singing in front of producer Bang Si Hyuk”, adding “It’s such an honor”.
After successfully wrapping up their two-day performances in Seoul, Enhypen will continue the tour with 13 more stops in 9 cities, including Osaka and Tokyo (Japan) in September, Los Angeles, Glendale, Houston Dallas, Newark, and Chicago (the US) in October. Through this tour, Enhypen not only entered the KSPO Dome but will also perform at Tokyo Dome in Japan and at stadiums in the US for the first time.
Enhypen is earning more remarkable achievements every day. Within 2.5 years after their debut, the group already had three albums that sold over 1 million copies, including the fourth mini album “DARK BLOOD” released earlier this May.
Moreover, Enhypen also made their first ‘Billboard 200’ entry at No.18 with the second mini album “BORDER: CARNIVAL” five months after their debut, No.11 with DIMENSION: DILEMMA”, No.6 with “MANIFESTO: DAY 1” and No.4 with “DARK BLOOD”. Since “DARK BLOOD” entered the chart on June 17th, it has stayed in the chart for seven weeks, breaking their own record.
