Not Suzy or Lee Hyori, this is the richest female Kpop idol of 2022

A recent article has revealed the five richest female Kpop stars of the year.

According to the Hong Kong news site SCMP, IU, Lee Hyori, Sandara Park, BoA, and Suzy, are the five wealthiest female Kpop stars of 2022.

Out of the five, the idol-actress IU ranks first, with a total network of 52.7 billion won (over 41.5 million USD).

This figure is 6.7 billion won more than Lee Hyori’s total assets of 46 billion won (over 36.2 million USD), and draws a lot of attention.

Coming in third after Lee Hyori is the 2NE1 member Sandara Park, who recently rose to this position after her performance at Coachella. She is said to be owning 35.1 billion won (over 27.6 million USD).

BoA and Suzy, who each own 29.2 billion won (23 million USD), share the fourth place.

This revelation of the artists has drawn rather hilarious reactions from netizens. A comment even refers to IU’s appearance as a part-timer at Lee Hyori’s house on the TV show “Hyori’s Homestay”, saying that: “A part-timer is making more money than her boss”.
