60th Baeksang Arts Awards Boasts Presenter Lineup With Song Hye-kyo, Ryu Jun-yeol Tang Wei And More
The star-studded lineup of the upcoming 60th Baeksang Arts Awards is arousing keen attention from fans and netizens
Representative stars of South Korea will participate in the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards, which will take place at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 5 p.m. on May 7th. From winners of last year to stars who attend to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Baeksang Arts Awards, this year’s lineup is highly anticipated.
Moon Sang-min and Roh Yoon-seo, who won Best New Actor in TV section, last year as well as Kim Si-eun, who won Best New Actor in Film section, will appear on the stage of the award ceremony this year. Also, actor Jang Dong-yoon, who enlisted after receiving Best New Actor in Film, will visit Baeksang again.
Last year’s Best Supporting Actor winners Jo Woo-jin & Lim Ji-yeon (TV section) and Byun Yo-han & Park Se-wan (Film section) will hand over the trophies to winners of the same categories this year. Especially, Lim Ji-yeon got a Best Actress nomination this year.
The entertainment and theater category will also welcome the 59th Baeksang winners such as Kim Jong-kook, Lee Eun-ji, Kim Min-soo, Jung Jae-hyung, Lee Young-joo, Ha Ji-sung on the stage as award presenters this year.
Lee Sung-min, Song Hye-kyo, Ryu Jun-yeol, and Tang Wei will shine at the Baeksang event again. Park Eun-bin and director Park Chan-wook will also deliver trophies to new Daesang winners.
The lineup continues with Kim Moo-yeol and Park Ji-hwan, whose movie “The Roundup: Punishment” surpassed 6 million viewers within only 9 days after its premiere, Kim Shin-rok, who will attend Baeksang for the second consecutive year, Kim Si-eun, the first winner of GUCCI Impact Award, JTBC’s new drama “The Atypical Family” leading actors Jang Ki-yong & Chun Woo-hee, Lee Jun-ho, who will appear in Netflix’s new series “Cashero”, Gil Ha-yeon, etc.
One of the highlights of the 2024 Baeksang Awards is the reunion of Shin Ha-kyun and Lee Min-jung after 11 years. Both starring in SBS’s drama “All About My Romance” in 2013, the two will work together again as Baeksang presenters.
Baeksang Arts Awards is the only comprehensive arts award ceremony in Korea with TV, film and theater sections. The 60th Baeksang Arts Awards will also air live on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4.
