The 28th Busan International Film Festival will create unforgettable memories in the first weekend of October
On October 7th, numerous actors are planning to meet fans through various events on the fourth day of the ongoing Busan International Festival.
First, TVing’s original series “Running Mate” team will hold an outdoor stage greeting at 1 p.m. at Busan Cinema Center. “Running Mate” is a pleasant political drama about model student Sehoon becoming the main character of an election as he becomes a running mate for the school student council to improve his image. Known as the directorial debut of Han Jin-won, who wrote “Parasite” together with director Bong Joon-ho and won Best Screenplay, the drama stars various new actors, such as Yoon Hyun-soo, Lee Jung-shik and Choi Woo-sung.
“Picnic” team, consisting of Na Moon-hee, Kim Young-ok, and Park Geun-hyung, will also hold an outdoor stage greeting at 1:30 p.m. An open talk with “Hopeless” team will continue at 2 p.m. on the same day. Starring Song Joong-ki, Hong Xa-bin and Kim Hyeong-seo (BIBI), “Hopeless” is a noir movie about a boy, who wants to escape from the hellish reality, meeting the middle boss of an organization and joining the world of crime.
The stage greeting for “In water” will be proceeded at 3 p.m. This is the 29th feature film by director Hong Sang-soo and it stars Shin Seok-ho, Ha Sung-guk, and Kim Seung-yoon. Wavve’s original drama “The Deal”, which depicts the story of two young men accidentally kidnapping a friend, will take over the open talk at 4 p.m. Yoo Seung-ho, Kim Dong-hwi, Yoo Soo-bin, and Lee Joo-young appear in this drama. In addition, the open talk for director Kim Jee-woon’s black comedy “Cobweb”, which premiered on the Chuseok holiday, will start at 5 p.m.
Actress Han Hyo-joo will be in charge of the evening. Making an intense transformation through Netflix’s movie “Believer 2”, the actress will spend time communicating with fans through the Actors’ House event, which will be held at KNN Theater from 8:30 p.m. There, Han Hyo-joo will reveal various stories surrounding “Believer 2” and her honest thoughts when looking back on her acting career.
