YG Entertainment has officially denied the recent rumors about BLACKPINK’s Rosé and actor Kang Dong Won dating, stating that it is not true.
On the afternoon of April 17th (KST), YG Entertainment released a statement through a press release, saying, “We previously stated that we cannot confirm anything related to Rosé‘s personal life. However, due to the relentless speculations, we are announcing once again that the dating rumor about Rosé is not true.”
YG urges the public to help prevent the spread of unfounded rumors, stating, “We ask for your cooperation in preventing the spread of false information.“
Earlier, rumors began to circulate online after netizens claimed that Kang Dong Won and Rosé were wearing matching necklaces and clothes from the same brand.
Despite YG’s initial statement that they could not confirm anything regarding Rosé’s personal life, speculations continued to spread.
Kang Dong Won was previously under YG Entertainment until December of last year. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently attended the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the United States, and are currently meeting their fans around the world through their world tour “Born Pink.”
