While the Hyun Bin-Son Ye-jin couple announced their marriage a year after they publicized their relationship, past stories related to them are drawing attention.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin were embroiled in as many as four dating rumors while working together in the movie “Negotiation” and tvN “Crash Landing on You”. In January 2019, rumors of the two traveling together in the U.S. also surfaced. There were reports of people seeing Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin traveling together in L.A, but both sides immediately denied it.
However, in January 2021, their relationship went public. There have been reports that Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have been dating for eight months since March 2020. In response, the two acknowledged their relationship for the first time and asked for fans’ support, saying, “I will try to take care of this relationship beautifully.”
At the time, Hyun Bin explained, “Since the end of ‘Crash Landing on You’, we have developed into lovers with good feelings for each other,” but the chemistry between them was very different from a friendship throughout the broadcast of ‘Crash Landing on You’. It may be because they are the male and female protagonist of a romance drama, but the actual pink mood between Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin was out of this world.

Kim Jung-hyun, who played Goo Seung-joon in “Crash Landing on You”, said in an interview at the end of the drama, “Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin sunbaenims look really cool when they act. Even when exchanging ideas or during the shoot, I could see honey dripping from their eyes. Both of them were so cool. I realized that I was acting alongside such great seniors”.
Kim Jung-hyun’s sense was not wrong. Every time Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin looked at each other, it was true that their eyes were full of sweetness. The two announced the news of their wedding, which will be held in March, a year after they publicized their romantic relationship, attracting keen attention from not only Koreans but also overseas fans.
