Top 10 Mon-Tue K-dramas released in 2022 with the highest scores on mydramalist

Here are 10 highest-rated Mon-Tue K-dramas this year on mydramalist.

Compared to the weekend time slot, the competition between Mon-Tue K-dramas is less fierce, but the quality and versatility in genres of this year’s Mon-Tue series should not be ignored. Let’s take a look at 10 Mon-Tue dramas broadcast this year with the highest scores on the famous website mydramalist as of August 10, 2022.

7th place: Cafe Minamdang (KBS2) – 8.1

KBS2’s ongoing mystery rom-com “Cafe Minamdang” starring Seo In Guk and Oh Yeon Seo is rated 8.1 on mydramalist. On TV, the drama recorded the highest rating of 5.7% in episode 4, but scored the lowest rating of 3.7% in the latest episode. The drop in ratings show that although “Cafe Minamdang” was off to a promising start, viewers seem to be losing interest towards the end.

6th place: Bloody Heart (KBS2); Link: Eat, Love, Kill (tvN); Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist (tvN) – 8.2

Three dramas with the same score of 8.2 and tied in 6th place are “Bloody Heart” (KBS2), “Link: Eat, Love, Kill” (tvN) and “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” (tvN). Despite having the same score on mydramalist, “Bloody Heart” has gained the most positive reactions from viewers and earned the highest ratings. Another historical drama, “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist”, has only released 4 episodes but is already drawing favorable reactions. Meanwhile, overall, “Link: Eat, Love, Kill” receives the most mixed reviews.

5th place: Crazy Love (KBS2) – 8.3

Due to its highest rating of 4.6%, “Crazy Love” is considered a flopped drama in Korea this year. However, ratings don’t decide whether a drama is fun or not and “Crazy Love” is a prime example. Krystal and Kim Jae Wook’s rom-com did not perform well in terms of ratings, but on mydramalist, plenty of good reviews on the drama have been left.

4th place: Military Prosecutor Doberman (tvN) – 8.4

Military Prosecutor Doberman” did not create much buzz internationally compared to some other dramas aired around the same time. However, domestically, it is listed among one of the most successful miniseries this year with the highest nationwide ratings of over 10%. With an engaging storyline and decent acting, it comes as no surprise that viewers on mydramalist gave “Military Prosecutor Doberman” an 8.4.

3th place: Ghost Doctor (tvN) – 8.6

Partly due to its lack of promotions, the medical fantasy drama “Ghost Doctor” led by Rain and Kim Bum is also not dubbed a hit globally, but its performance in Korea should not be underestimated. As the drama recorded the highest rating of 7.9%, which is considerably high for a Mon-Tue series. With an 8.6 on mydramalist, the quality of “Ghost Doctor” is not something viewers need to worry about if they wish to give the drama a watch.

2nd place: Business Proposal (SBS) – 8.7

One of the most buzzworthy K-dramas of 2022 is without doubt “Business Proposal”. As a webtoon-based drama with an overused rich guy-poor girl trope, “Business Proposal” was not expected to become a hit. However, thanks to its fun storyline, natural acting, and the cast’s great visuals and chemistry, the drama saw an excellent performance both in Korea and internationally. An 8.7 on mydramalist makes “Business Proposal” the runner-up in this ranking.

1st place: Our Beloved Summer (SBS) – 8.8

Starring the duo of trustworthy actors, Choi Woo Shik and Kim Dami, “Our Beloved Summer” unexpectedly did not do well rating-wise with an average rating of only 3.9%. Contrary to its humble performance in Korea, “Our Beloved Summer” is one of the most loved K-dramas by international viewers this year, recording the highest score on mydramalist across Mon-Tue dramas. Perhaps international fans have always had a soft spot for heartfelt youth dramas, and “Our Beloved Summer” is no exception.
