The reason why actor Jo Jung-suk has never been hit by his eldest brother is quite freaky.
When appearing on JTBC’s “Knowing Bros“, which aired in July 2019, Jo Jung-suk revealed an anecdote with his eldest brother.
In the “Pick Voyage” corner, Jo Jung-suk set a question, “My brother once told me something that sent shivers down my spine. Guess what it was.”
Jo Jung-suk gave Kang Ho-dong a hint, “You have an older brother, right?” He then added, “I have 2 older brothers and an older sister. One is 10 years older than me, and the other is 16 years older. My sister and I are 19 years apart.”
Yoona guessed, “One of them scolded you, and it scared you badly.” Jo Jung-suk said, “It’s about what he said. When I was in high school, I spent the night before outside without telling my parents. My eldest brother is a former pro boxer.”
It was Lee Soo-geun who answered the question correctly. Lee Soo-geun guessed, “His brother said, ‘You know why I never lay my hands on you? Because if I did, you’d be dead.'”
Jo Jung-suk revealed, “I went over to a friend’s house with the excuse of an upcoming exam at school, stayed up late while studying, and fell asleep. We got up early in the morning, had instant noodles, didn’t study, went to school in bad shape and took the quiz. We did well though and came back home. Then I was scolded by my eldest brother.”
Jo Jung-suk added, “He said, ‘Jung-suk, do you know why I never punch you? Because if I did, you could be dead. Do better.'”
