The kiss scene of these two actors looks so real that even the director thought they were actually dating
The director of “Lovestruck in the City” once confessed his worry about a real romantic relationship between Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won.
In the winter of 2020, Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won worked together in “Lovestruck in the City”. Ji Chang-wook played architect Park Jae-won whose charm is his honesty, while Kim Ji-won appeared as freelancer marketer Lee Eun-oh.
This drama depicts the romance of young people who live fiercely in a complex city. The two formed a lovely couple and made viewers’ hearts flutter with their chemistry like real lovers.
Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won were able to become closer as they had lots of kiss scenes and skinship moments right from the beginning of the drama. It was not easy to film such scenes, especially for those who only met once or twice. However, the two successfully brought excitement to the viewers with their professional acting skills.
“Lovestruck in the City” director Park Shin-woo once shared, “At first, I was worried that the two might not look like lovers since they are known to be close to each other as brother and sister. However, after filming with them, I began to worry about scandals since I thought they were dating for real.”
In addition, Kim Ji-won has gained viewers’ sympathy for her main character role Yeom Mi-jung in JTBC’s drama “My Liberation Notes”, which is recording new rating peaks through every episode.
