“The Glory” Song Hye Kyo vs “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” Park Eun Bin, who will receive Best Actress award?

Who will receive the Best Actress Award, Song Hye Kyo or Park Eun Bin?

On April 28th, the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards will be held at Incheon Paradise City, Yeongjongdo, Incheon. The event will be hosted by Shin Dong Yup, Bae Suzy, Park Bo Gum and broadcast live for 3 hours.

It is no exaggeration to say that the drama category is actually a showdown between “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and “The Glory”. They were nominated in almost all categories, including Best Drama, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best New Actor and Best New Actress. In particular, Park Eun Bin (ENA’s “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”), Song Hye Kyo (Netflix’s “The Glory”), Kim Hye Soo (tvN’s “Under the Queen’s Umbrella”), Kim Ji Won (JTBC’s “My Liberation Notes”) and Suzy (Coupang Play’s “Anna”) were nominated for the Best Actress award.

All five people showed great acting, but Song Hye Kyo and Park Eun Bin are predicted to be the final winner by viewers and industry insiders.

First of all, Song Hye Kyo challenged a 19+ revenge play for the first time rather than melodrama or romantic comedy. She introduced a new Song Hye Kyo that the public has never seen before by playing Moon Dong Eun, a victim of school violence. She reunited with writer Kim Eun Sook of “Descendants of the Sun” after 6 years and did not follow the same genre. Even in the 26th year of her debut, Song Hye Kyo showed an amazing acting transformation and received favorable reviews.

In “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, Park Eun Bin played Woo Young Woo, the main character suffering from autism spectrum disorder, and presented an overwhelming performance. She created a strange buzzword called “goose, tomato, Switzerland, Indian, shooting star, Yeoksam station” and completed “Park Eun Bin’s own Woo Young Woo” that no one else could have imagined.

Attention is focused on who between Song Hye Kyo and Park Eun Bin will hold Baeksang’s trophy.
