Gold-digger Girlfriend of Suicided Gamer Turns Out to be a Lesbian? Chatlogs Revealed

Recently, social media has been spreading the story of a young man nicknamed Fat Cat (born in 2003, Hunan, China) who committed suicide by jumping off the Yangtze River Bridge (Chongqing) after breaking up with his girlfriend. 

Specifically, on the morning of April 11, Fat Cat jumped off the Yangtze River Bridge (Chongqing) to commit suicide, and it wasn’t until April 23 that the young man’s body was found.

Related to Fat Cat’s girlfriend named Tan Zhu (born in 1997, Chongqing, China), a Douyin account suddenly appeared claiming to have dated Tan Zhu during the 2 years Fat Cat and Tan Zhu were in a relationship, unveiling Tan Zhu as a lesbain.

The girl’s post is as below:

“I am the person who went with Tan Zhu to Dali during the time they were in a relationship.

At that time, I had no idea about this, so I dated her for almost 3 months, starting in May and ending in August last year. We became friends again in October but I canceled it afterward.

Tan Zhu and I met while working at a bar. She was my customer from the beginning, chose me to serve drinks, so we got acquainted. Over time, I felt she was a gentle and communicative person. She often came to the bar, and then gradually began to pursue me. She treated me very well, and I gradually developed feelings for her, and then we fell in love.

When we were together, we traveled together, lived together, but I had no idea she had a boyfriend. She really hid it well. I also didn’t have the habit of checking my partner’s private phone.

It wasn’t until January 23rd that my friend told me she posted a photo commemorating her 2 years with Fat Cat that I found out.

On the other hand, during the 5 years they were in a relationship, Fat Cat transferred a total of 510,000 Chinese yuan (approx 70,000 USD) to his girlfriend Tan Zhu. Just because Tan Zhu said she didn’t want a long-distance relationship, Fat Cat agreed to move to Chongqing to be closer to his girlfriend.

Despite his less-than-affluent circumstances, Fat Cat still tried to “grind” games every day, living frugally, only ordering takeaway meals for 10 NDT (about 1 USD) each, and even vomiting blood without having money for medical check-ups. However, all the young man received in return was his girlfriend’s indifference.

During their two-year relationship, they only met twice. They planned to register for marriage in May, but Tan Zhu wanted to break up starting in April. Unable to persuade his girlfriend, the young man made the extreme choice to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge. An hour before ending his life, Fat Cat ordered 760 flowers for his girlfriend and transferred 66,666 NDT (about 9,300 USD) to her.
