Season two depicts the story of Lee Yeon as he time warps to 1938. It shows the process of the gumiho, who has arrived in a chaotic era, trying to return to the modern world.

The production team said, “Director Kang Shin Hyo and writer Han Woo Ri, who created a new world of ‘K-fantasy,’ reunited after three years. The drama is equipped with an even more dynamic action and an expanded scale on top of a unique worldview that delicately intertwines native gods and Korean monsters, as well as various characters from folktales.

They also stated that “The meeting of familiar and new faces, including Lee Dong Wook, Kim So Yeon, Kim Bum, Ryu Kyung Soo, Hwang Hee, and Kim Yong Ji, will be an essential viewing element.

“Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938”, meeting viewers in season two after three years, will premiere on May 6th at 9:20 pm KST as the follow-up to the currently airing drama “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise.”
