Sunye says she has no regrets devoting her youth to Wonder Girls + favorite song is “Nobody”
Sunye recalled her promotions as a member of Wonder Girls.
On August 4, former Wonder Girls member Sunye made a guest appearance in MBC FM4U’s radio show “Two O’Clock Date Muse.” On this day, DJ Ahn Young Mi and Muzie talked with Sunye about her discography.
Sunye recalled her Wonder Girls days and said, “I ate in the car, slept with my mouth open in the car with makeup on, and then went onto the stage. I don’t regret devoting my youth to Wonder Girls. It was such a precious time for me.”
When asked what her favorite Wonder Girls’ song is, Sunye chose “Nobody” and said, “When I first heard ‘Tell Me’, I was like, ‘What is this?’ It was a song and concept that I couldn’t quite relate to. It’s an American disco from the 80’s, but we were born in the 90’s, so we couldn’t relate.”
Sunye continued, “I thought ‘Nobody’ sounded cool and would be a hit. It has a melody that I believed many people could follow.”
