Singer Soyou, who lost 8kg without working out, recommended the most effective exercise for dieting.
On August 18th, Soyou guested on a MBC radio show hosted by DJ JaeJae.
During the broadcast, DJ JaeJae said, “You’re famous as a person with good self-management. You even use the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ stepmill machine for exercises. It seems hard just by looking at it”. In response, Soyou said, “Nothing is more effective than doing aerobics on an empty stomach”.
The female singer continued, “I’m not very good at it. I do it when I need to lose weight for broadcasts or when I look puffed”, adding “Doing aerobics on an empty stomach is tiring but after a few minutes, you will feel satisfied. You will feel good after overcoming the moment that you feel extremely exhausted like you’re going to die”.
Meanwhile, Soyou also explained her diet method when appearing on SBS’s “Strong Heart League” in July. At that time, she drew attention when saying, “Celebrities are no different from ordinary people. They also work out and go on diets to lose weight”.
The reason everyone was so surprised by Soyou’s diet method was that she succeeded in losing 8kg without working out. She shared, “I got a ruptured ligament, so I was not allowed to work out for two months”, adding, “I was told about the Keto diet so I almost didn’t eat any carbohydrates and sugars”. Soyou revealed that she had scrambled eggs, avocado, bacon, and Bulletproof coffee for breakfast and lunch and ate whatever she wanted as long as it wasn’t carbohydrates for dinner.
