A past broadcast of “Love On The Air” is drawing attention from K-pop fans
In 1997, Hwang Soo-jung guested on a broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Love On The Air”. At that time, the actress revealed the story of how she found her first love in high school.
When Hwang Soo-jung was a freshman at Myungil Girl’s High School, she had a romance with a male student from another school, but they eventually lost contact. Therefore, she came to the show to find her first love.
The production team actually found the main character in the story and invited him to the recording studio. Meeting the man, MC Lee Sang-byeok asked, “Do you have a girlfriend?”. He replied, “I don’t have a girlfriend”, adding “But I have a wife”. Later, his pregnant wife and his first son also came on the stage.
What’s surprising is that the man’s second child, who was inside his pregnant wife’s stomach, is now an idol singer. It turns out that he is the youngest member of the boy group iKON, Jung Chan-woo.
When Jung Chan-woo competed in iKON’s pre-debut survival program “MIX & MATCH”, his parents also appeared in a very short scene. That scene has also been re-examined as it clearly showed the face of Jung Chan-woo’s father, the main character in Hwang Soo-jung’s first love story.
