“Revenant” Kim Tae Ri draws admiration with her creepy acting in the scene where she curses a doll

Actress Kim Tae Ri once again amazed viewers with her amazing acting performance in the newly released drama “Revenant”.

SBS’s new drama “Revenant” written by writer Kim Eun Hee successfully achieved 10% rating with only two episodes. 

In episode 2 of “Revenant”, which aired on June 24th, the scene where Goo San Young (Kim Tae Ri) does creepy actions after being possessed by the devil without her knowing left a deep impression.

San Young gets confused and cannot hide her anxiety upon seeing a series of mysterious events happening around her. In particular, she shows abnormal behaviors that go against her will, such as destroying the doll with a knife. After regaining her sense and figuring out what she has just done, she hurriedly throws the doll away and leaves the place.

In the scene where she cursed the doll, Kim Tae Ri thrilled the audience with her spine-chilling line, such as “You whine about everything despite being born in a good and wealthy family”, “They always give you everything, you spoiled brat”, etc.

Many viewers got goosebumps seeing the next scene where San Young scratches the doll’s face with a knife and gives a creepy look.

Kim Tae Ri increased the tension as she perfectly captured the changed expressions of San Young, from when she is possessed by the devil to when she shows an anxious look as soon as she gained back consciousness.

The moment San Young suddenly faces the devil laughing at her with an eerie expression in the mirror after throwing the doll and running away stunned many viewers. 

The devil’s attitude when challenging San Young, “Guess my name”, through the mirror stimulate curiosity. 

Meanwhile, San Young decides to find out the identity of the devil together with folklore professor Hae Sang (Oh Jung Se). Attention is focused on whether Kim Tae Ri will be able to digest both faces of Goo San Young and the devil with her chilling acting.

Directed by Kim Eun Hee, “Revenant” is a Korean-style occult mystery thriller drama about a woman possessed by a devil and a man who can see the devil digging into mysterious deaths.
