NCT 127’s fans at the group’s Jakarta concert under criticism for pushing and causing chaos

NCT 127’s recent concert in Jakarta could not be completed successfully due to fans’ behavior.

“Crowd crushing”, “pushing”, “fainting” are currently sensitive keywords in Korea due to the Itaewon tragedy. Less than a week after the Itaewon incident, a crowd surge happened again at NCT 127‘s The Link concert in Jakarta, Indonesia. Although there were no casualties, fans of NCT 127 were still criticized for their lack of manners.

On November 4, NCT 127 held a concert as part of their world tour “The Link” in Jakarta. The show had to end midway because of a severe incident in the standing zone. As there were no specific seats, fans were pushing each other to get closer to the stage, resulting in 30 people reportedly faint.

After the worrying incident in Jakarta, fans are urging SM Entertainment to pay more attention to the organization of their artists’ concerts to ensure safety.
