Lee Mi Joo, who focuses on variety shows after Lovelyz’s disbandment, confesses her feelings about making a solo debut 

Former Lovelyz member Lee Mi Joo expressed her honest thoughts about releasing her first solo album since debut.

On May 13th, Mi Joo posted on her official Youtube channel an interview film for her first single album “Move Star”.

The video shows Mi Joo confessing her sincerity about performing on the stage and telling stories, from the moment she dreamed of becoming a singer to the process of achieving her dream. In particular, Mi Joo explained, “I have to stand on stage. That’s the place where I can truly showcase who I am”.

Achieving another dream through her first single album “Movie Star”, Mi Joo said, “I still can’t believe it. It’s all because of your unwavering support. Without you, I would have to keep imagining my stage. Thank you for patiently waiting for me. I’ve been longing to see you all so much”, revealing her affection for fans.

The single album “Movie Star” is the first solo album Mi Joo released since she made her debut with Lovelyz. Like the album name, it features Mi Joo’s transformation into a fancy ‘movie star’.

Mi Joo, who has been active in entertainment programs after ending her activities with Lovelyz, will show off her charms as a singer, her main job, through this solo album.

Meanwhile, Mi Joo will release her solo debut album “Movie Star” on May 17th and begin to carry out promotional activities.
