Leader of TWICE – Nayeon expresses her gratitude to maknae Tzuyu, the reason makes fans deeply touched

TWICE’s leader said that it was Tzuyu who contributed to bringing the group to the public: “beautiful is also a talent”!

Nayeon expressed sincere comments regarding Tzuyu in a recent video posted on TWICE‘s official YouTube channel, which drew a lot of attention from fans. The two enjoyed dinner and chatted together at a high-class restaurant in the video titled ‘2WICE’s DATE‘.

Tzuyu was labeled as an “incompetent” member because so far, netizens have only known her through hot topics about her outstanding beauty. However, Nayeon gave a lot of compliments and gratitude to the maknae, claiming that she was the one who helped TWICE become famous.

“There were many times I was so grateful and proud that you were in our team. I’m saying this because I thought about it often. I was really grateful that you were in our team. People paid a lot of attention to us in the beginning because of you. And because of you, they had a chance to get to know the rest of us. You played a big role to kickstart our career. So I really wanna thank you.” – said Nayeon

Before TWICE officially debuted, Tzuyu soon received public attention thanks to her beautiful appearance when participating in the survival show Sixteen (2015 reality TV show aimed at creating a girl group by JYP Entertainment and Mnet). She continuously entered the hot search and gained the support of a large audience.

Tzuyu, although being a foreigner idol, is adored by Korean netizens and has always been listed as one of the most beautiful female K-pop idols for many years.

• I miss the year 2016 when Suzy and Tzuyu’s names were always on the hot topic. They were all so gorgeous!
• That’s right. TWICE was not very popular when they first debuted. When the public was impressed with Tzuyu’s visuals, they began to pay more attention to the group, and the group started to become more well-known to the public after they released ‘Cheer Up’. Ever since I watched Sixteen, I’ve found Tzuyu pretty and charming.
