When asked, “How did you make your debut?”, Kyuhyun recalled the past and said, “I won a singing contest and received prize money. Then I got a bronze medal at another music festival, so SM paid attention to me and asked me to come to the company for an audition”. He added, “However, I said ‘No’”, raising the viewers’ curiosity.

Kyuhyun explained, “It was because I had already signed a contract with Park Sun-joo teacher after winning the award”, adding, “I said I wouldn’t go to SM because I wanted to become a ballad singer, but I couldn’t contact Park Sun-joo teacher since then. I looked at the contract and found it says ‘If A does not do anything within six months, the contract is invalid’. So I called SM back in a hurry”, revealing his debut process.
