Police To Accelerate Investigation Into Accusations Against Min Hee-jin Due To Public Interest

The police would speed up the investigation into the accusations against Min Hee-jin as it has aroused so much public attention

Regarding the complaint against ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin filed by the mother company HYBE, Cho Ji-ho, head of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, said on May 7th, “Since the public is showing keen interest in the issue, we should speed up the investigation and explain it to the public”.

At the regular press conference held at the Seoul Metropolitan Government in Jongno-gu, Seoul this morning, Cho said, “The investigation has not yet achieved any meaningful progress”. Regarding the fact that the number of money in breach of trust was not stated in the complaint, he explained, “We are still in the stage of reviewing the records”, adding “Just because the sum has not been confirmed does not mean the complaint or accusation is invalid. The sum should be clarified during the investigation”.
