Actor Kim Seon-ho got crowned as the “Most Shining Talent” of 2021.
From the 5th to the 28th of Nov, Gallup Korea asked 1700 people aged 13 or older (excluding Jeju) to pick up to two artists that was the most active in the past year to them (free answer). Kim Seon-ho and Shin Min-ah, the main characters of tvN weekend drama “Hometown Chachacha,” ranked first and second, respectively.
Actor Lee Jung-jae (7.3%) was tied for second place, actor Jeon Ji-hyun (5.5%) was ranked fourth, and actor Song Hye-kyo (5.2%) was ranked fifth.
Actors Kim So-yeon (5.0%) were ranked in sixth place, actors Lee Ha-ni and Cho Jung-seok in seventh place, Nam Gung-min in ninth place, and actors Youn Yuh-jung and Song Joong-ki in tenth place.
Meanwhile, Kim Seon-ho recently attended the first full script reading meeting for the movie “Sad Tropical” on Dec 3rd and resumed his activities.
“Sad Tropical” is a new film directed by Park Hoon-jung, who directed the films “New World” and “The Witch”. The movie depicts a boy of a Korean father and a Filipino mother coming to Korea to find his father.
Kim Sun-ho plays a mysterious character who seems to be a helper of the boy but also an obstacle in the movie.
