How will BLACKPINK solve contract renewal issue after Gocheok concert? Looking forward to members’ final ment

Fans and the public are looking forward to BLACKPINK members’ moves after Gocheok concert

BLACKPINK will complete the long journey of their “BORN PINK” world tour with the last show at Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul on September 17th. After successfully holding 64 concerts in 34 cities worldwide, BLACKPINK will finally end the tour with a Gocheok Dome encore.

Even during their busy world tour, the girl group also performed at US festival Coachella and UK festival Hyde Park as the first Asian headliner.

Regarding this important final concert of the world tour, YG said, “We have meticulously prepared everything to bring the best results for ‘BORN PINK’ grand finale”, adding “We have utilized some Coachella performances to recreate the excitement of that time in Korea and arranged several exclusive hit song performances for this show. We’ve also gathered the largest number of dancers throughout the tour”. The agency emphasized, “As the first K-pop girl group to enter Gocheok Sky Dome, the largest indoor concert venue in Korea, we have paid more attention to the scale of the stage, as well as special effects like LED, lasers, etc. so that the members can interact with the audience more closely. BLACKPINK’s stage outfits have also been prepared carefully with special meaning”.

In fact, this Gocheok concert also means something else to BLACKPINK. BLACKPINK has celebrated their 7th debut anniversary on August 8th. A month has passed but the members have reportedly not yet renewed their exclusive contract with YG.

It is possible to consider and fulfill fixed schedules even after the contract expiry as long as they have been arranged before the contract expiration. Following their successful Paris concert in July, BLACKPINK and YG have continued to cooperate for other schedules despite the suspicious atmosphere of the contract renewal process. Therefore, the public is curious whether they will continue to work together.

Fans are waiting to see whether the members would make meaningful remarks at their last Gocheok concert on the 17th. Earlier, Rosé drew attention when she said, “BLACKPINK will not go anywhere” at their Singapore concert, while Jennie mentioned “the last” before their first concert at Gocheok Sky Dome.
