Girl group FIFTY FIFTY soars to No. 18 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart Top 100, surpassing BLACKPINK’s global popularity

FIFTY FIFTY breaks into the “Official Singles Charts Top 100” at an impressive ranking.

On April 29th (local time), Korean girl group FIFTY FIFTY entered the U.K.’s “Official Singles Chart Top 100” at 18th place with their song “Cupid”. The “Singles Chart Top 100” is often considered to be the U.K.’s equivalent of the U.S.’s Billboard rankings. FIFTY FIFTY first entered the “Singles Chart” on March 31st at No. 96. In nearly a month, “Cupid” jumped to 61st and climbed 43 spots to 18th place. The song broke the record for making it into the top 20 in the shortest time.

Previously, BLACKPINK’s collaborated music release “Sour Candy” with Lady Gaga debuted in the U.K. chart at No. 17th. However, “Cupid” by FIFTY FIFTY was the highest-ranking song sung solely by a K-pop girl group to break into the chart.

FIFTY FIFTY is a four-member girl group under ATTRAKT. They debuted in November 2022 with the mini-album “The Fifty”.
