The unit led by General Lee Tae-shin (played by Jung Woo-sung) in the movie “12.12: The Day”, which is attracting big audiences recently, is the Capital Defense Command.

In particular, considering the nature of operations that involve suppressing terrorism, V’s application to the SDT has raised concerns among BTS fans.

This is because it is known that V has severe acrophobia. V is known to be unable to let go of the handrail when climbing high stages during concerts and unable to open his eyes when riding a zip line for broadcasts.

Fans speculated about various reasons for V applying to the SDT, which is known for extensive rappelling training, including overcoming his fear.

Most responses from fans express concern for V, acknowledging his acrophobia but expressing confidence that he will overcome it. Some say it is admirable if he applied to overcome his fear, and others express their support for V as part of the SDT.

V is reported to be enlisting in the military on Dec 11th. On the same day, RM is also set to enlist at the Nonsan Training Center.

Jimin and Jungkook are confirmed to enlist in the 5th Infantry Division’s recruit training center on Dec 12th.
