BTS member J-Hope delivered his current status while fulfilling military service.
On July 8th, J-Hope made a post on BTS’s official fan community Weverse. He greeted fans, saying “ARMY!! How are you doing??? It’s such a nice weekend”.
J-Hope shared, “After completing lectures for assistant research at Division 36 of Baekho Recruit Training Center, I was finally appointed (as an army assistant). I’ve been diligently serving as an assistant of a group these days”. He continued, “As expected, I’ve been so busy with my duties that I didn’t have time to let you guys know the news.”
He continued, “While performing my military duties in the hot month of July, memories of the days around this time last year when I was active as J-Hope came to mind again”, adding, “They’re different versions of me but I believe that the desire of drawing the future passionately is still the same”.
J-Hope added, “I came to write this post because I wanted to tell you that I will continue living as Jung Ho Seok and J-Hope, who will never change no matter when or where, under any circumstances.”
Lastly, he said, “To my ARMY, be careful of the heat and the rain. I hope that you all, including all the Korean soldiers and military trainees, are also healthy.”
Meanwhile, J-Hope enlisted at Division 36 of Baekho New Training Center in Wonju, Gangwon-do on April 18th. After completing five weeks of basic military training, he was selected as an army assistant and is continuing his active-duty service.
