Yoo Jae Suk, “I quit smoking after marrying Na Kyung Eun… I couldn’t breathe”

Famous host and “Running Man” member Yoo Jae Suk revealed the reason he quitted smoking

On September 19th, Kim Jong Kook published a video titled “Talk is high repetition, exercise is low repetition”, which features fellow “Running Man” members Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Suk Jin on his YouTube channel.

In the video, Kim Jong Kook said, “There must be a lot of people who are curious about the exercising regime of him (Yoo Jae Suk). When he exercises his chest, the range of motion is extremely short, so I nagged him a little.”

To this, Yoo Jae Suk responded, “I also go to the gym, but the teachers also see Jong Kook working out.”

The “nation’s MC” then recalled, “Back when I was in ‘X-Man’, the recording concluded at dawn, so I had dinner with Ho Dong. It’s not the same now, but Jong Kook was extremely strict back then. He brought a plate of eggs and ate only the whites. He even told me to do some exercise or I will die.”

At that time, I was in my 30s, so I felt fine” Yoo Jae Suk said, adding, “But at some point, I couldn’t get enough stamina while recording. So, I went to the gym, and now I work out 2-3 days a week if I’m too busy. I was even smoking at the time, I couldn’t breathe.”

He also talked about quitting smoking. In particular, Yoo Jae Suk said, “Now that I have children, I have given up smoking while getting married.I thought it would be very difficult, but I stopped smoking easily. It’s been 13 years since I quit smoking, and now I don’t think of cigarettes at all.”

On the other hand, Yoo Jae Suk is married to former MBC news announcer Na Kyung Eun, and they have one son and one daughter.
