The true reason why Lee Da-hae and Se7en couldn’t break up despite facing a critical situation after their big fight last year

The 8-year couple, actress Lee Da-hae and singer Se7en, honestly confessed that they suffered from a situation that nearly caused them to break up last year.

The broadcast of MBC’s “Omniscient Interfering View” aired on the evening of January 15th, revealed some daily life moments of Lee Da-hae and Se7en, who are both 29 years old. Choi Seung-joon recalled Lee Da-hae and Se7en’s big fight in the past, saying, “Even their families felt bad for them”.

Lee Da-hae said, “Since I have been dating Se7en for a long time, my friends, sisters, and brothers adore him so much”, and revealed that many people around her even shed tears knowing she almost broke up with Se7en. In particular, the actress said her mother was the most disappointed because she has always thought Se7en is a really nice person.

Lee Da-hae burst into tears as she revealed the fact that her mother didn’t like Se7en at first. She then said, “When I brought him along to meet my mom for the first time, she prepared food for us. While eating, Se7en said, ‘Mom, the food is so delicious. I give it a ‘Pass’!’. As my mom then said, ‘Who does Ji (“do you” in regional dialect) think you are to ‘pass’ my food?’, Se7en answered, ‘What is Ji?”. Lee Da-hae explained that the two smiled and became closer.

Lee Da-hae said, “The driving force behind my long-lasting relationship with this person (Se7en) is also ‘family’”, adding, “Se7en’s family members were nice to me even when I first met them. I really like his sisters, but his parents are the best.”

She also confessed, “When we faced a critical situation last year, I couldn’t help crying because our families felt bad for us even more than Se7en”. Then, Lee Da-hae said, “I can meet a man like Se7en, but I might not be able to meet any people who are as good as his family members if we break up”, drawing laughter.
