TWICE surpasses BLACKPINK to be the K-pop female act with the biggest U.S. sales week on the Billboard 200 

TWICE adds another achievement to their long list of records. 

After the Billboard 200 was announced, TWICE’s 12th mini-album “Ready To Be” debuted in second place, surpassing “Endless Summer Vacation” by Miley Cyrus. According to Luminate, the album records 153 thousand equivalent album units during the week ending on March 16th, with 145,500 traditional album sales, which translates into 10.28 million on-demand streams.

The figures help TWICE establish themselves as the female K-pop act with the biggest sales in the U.S. in the history of Billboard 200. Previously, the record was achieved by “BORN PINK” by BLACKPINK with 102 thousand equivalent album units in the U.S. during the week ending on September 22nd. 

TWICE is also the first K-pop girl group to have three albums in the Top 3 Billboard 200. The other two are “Between 1&2” at third place with 100 equivalent album units and “Formula Of Love” in the same ranking with 65 thousand.
