TOMORROW X TOGETHER expressed how they feel about being so widely loved outside of Korea

TOMORROW X TOGETHER expressed their thoughts on why they are loved by fans abroad.

At 3 p.m. on May 9th, a showcase was held at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul to announce the release of TXT’s fourth mini-album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child.”

TOMORROW X TOGETHER is loved by Generation Z around the world thanks to their trendy melody, sincere lyrics that evoke empathy, and solid storytelling in their performances. Based on this, TOMORROW X TOGETHER has made remarkable achievements on major global charts, such as entering the “Billboard 200” on the 2021 year-end settlement chart released by U.S. music media Billboard.

In particular, the “The Chaos Chapter” series released by TOMORROW X TOGETHER last year was recognized as a K-pop masterpiece in 2021 amid rave reviews from leading foreign media outlets. Their second full-length album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” and the repackage album “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” are the only K-pop artists’ albums to be listed in the “Top 50 of the Year” released by British music magazine NME and Rolling Stone, respectively.

In response to this prosperous performance overseas, Tae-hyun said, “I was proud that last year’s ‘The Chaos Chapter’ series has received so many good reviews. I felt that the time we spent working hard to make “The Chaos Chapter” series was not in vain,” he said. “I think I worked harder on this album after gaining momentum from that love.”

When asked about their thoughts on why TXT is loved so much overseas, Yeon-jun replied, “I think the reason why we are loved is that our colors are so distinctive that they always say ‘This is indeed TXT‘.” Subin then added, “The members always participate in the production process of our albums, so that it can show more of our true feelings. We are also loved for the lyrics that many people can relate to.”

TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s fourth mini-album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” has been released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the same day.
