The man who claimed to have an affair with an actress in her 50s suddenly canceled the conference scheduled for today (Sep 21st), “I’m sorry for causing a stir”

B, the man who previously revealed his affair with actress A in her 50s, suddenly canceled his scheduled press conference.

In an official statement released on September 21st, B said, “All the circumstances that have been reported stemmed from my business greed”, and announced that he would cancel the press conference scheduled to be held at 3 p.m on the same day.

B met A for the first time at a golf course through the introduction of an acquaintance and offered A a partnership. B said he would provide financial support to A for about a year to recruit her to an entertainment agency he was planning to establish. However, A answered that it was impossible for her to sign a contract with a new agency,

B said, “I didn’t know that my foolish idea of getting back the expenses I spent on the recruitment regardless of A’s intention during the time I was experiencing economic difficulties would cause such a social stir. I will take any punishment for every situation”. 

He added, “I have tarnished the reputation the actress has built for a long time. Once again, I sincerely apologize to actress A, her family, acquaintances, and fans for causing such a social controversy.”

Earlier, B revealed that A had an affair with him and filed a lawsuit against A for a contract worth 111.6 million won. B claimed that he spent a large amount of money on the living expenses of A’s family and her golf expenses while in a relationship with A.
