Boy group RIIZE won the “Favorite New Artist” award at the “2023 MAMA AWARDS”
The “2023 MAMA AWARDS” (hereafter “2023 MAMA”) was held at Tokyo Dome, Japan on Nov 28th and was broadcast live through Mnet, the YouTube channel Mnet K-POP, etc. The hosts for the event are Park Bo-gum and Jeon Somi.
On this day, RIIZE won the “Favorite New Artist” award.
RIIZE’s leader Sungchan said, “First of all, thank you to the SM Entertainment family and everyone who supported us.”
He continued, “We want to thank BRIIZE (fandom name) who made us who we are now.”
He also mentioned, “It is said that this award is given to artists who have sold more than 1 million copies. Achieving good results right after our debut is thanks to the fans.”
RIIZE concluded their acceptance speech by stating, “We will strive to show you an even better side of us.“
Meanwhile, following Nov 28th, the “2023 MAMA” will take place on Nov 29th at Tokyo Dome, Japan.
