Photos of 16 years old Ma Dong-seok are drawing attention.
Recently, a post titled “5 million question marks in my head because Ma Dong-seok was 16 years old in this picture” was uploaded on the online community theqoo.
The post contains a photo of Ma Dong-seok when he was a teenager, which was revealed on a past broadcast. In the photo, Ma Dong-seok was wearing a cap and looking at the camera with his shirt off. Ma Dong-seok boasted a mature atmosphere which makes it hard to believe that he was a teenager at the time. In particular, his slim muscular body, which is quite different compared to now, attracted attention.
When appearing on MBC’s “Section TV” in 2018, Ma Dong-seok revealed the photo and explained, “My past photos are spreading on the Internet. That’s when I was 18 years old (Korean age). Afterwards, I have lived with this face since I was 19.”
In fact, the photo was taken when Ma Dong-seok was a sophomore in high school, showing the 16 years old Ma Dong-seok. Ma Dong-seok played the role of monster detective Ma Seok-do in the movie “The Roundup”, which was released in May. “The Roundup” is gaining sensational popularity as it surpassed 10 million viewers within 25 days after its release. It was recorded as the first movie to exceed 10 million viewers since the COVID-19 pandemic, adding meaning.
